The Story of ARADO

Arado is a Cologne-based DJ and producer who emerged as a dynamic force in the electronic music scene in the late 2000s. His international break came in 2009 with the release of “Uganda Express” on Loco Dice’s Desolat label – a track co-produced with Den Ishu that was immediately championed by top-tier DJs including Sven Väth, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, and Desolat boss Loco Dice.

Building on that momentum, Arado in 2010 teamed up with Italian producer Marco Faraone for the Moon Harbour release “Strange Neighbors,” a follow-up hit that cemented his status. These early milestones quickly established Arado as an “undeniably talented” producer, setting the stage for his rise in the international electronic music arena.

In the years following his breakthrough, Arado built an impressive discography across many respected underground labels, delivering standout tracks on imprints such as All Inn Limited, Area Remote, and Dame Music. His production prowess saw him tapped for releases on a slew of other renowned labels – including Cécille Records, Etruria Beat, Snatch! Records, Avotre, Cr2 Records, Stil vor Talent, and Moan Recordings. He also proved a sought-after collaborator, contributing remixes for an array of fellow artists such as the late Pascal FEOS, Martinez, Yaya and Klangkuenstler.

Arado’s success in the studio soon translated into an extensive international touring schedule. He earned a coveted residency at the legendary Space Ibiza, becoming a regular fixture at the club’s events and later appearing at other Ibiza hotspots like Sankeys and Privilege. Beyond these residencies, Arado brought his charismatic, raw sound to renowned venues around the world – from Berlin’s famed Watergate and Frankfurt’s Cocoon Club to Tenax in Italy and Café D’Anvers in Belgium. His club travels have extended across continents, with tour stops in North America and Asia.

On the festival circuit, Arado has graced the stages of some of the world’s premier electronic music events, including Tomorrowland in Belgium and Parookaville in Germany, as well as Sónar Festival in Barcelona and Zürich’s famed Street Parade. Even with over a decade of experience, he continues to expand his reach – regularly touring across new locales in Asia, the Middle East (including events like Terra Solis Dubai by Tomorrowland), and beyond – all while consistently releasing fresh music and refining his craft.
